Nuevos Creadores

Nuevos Creadores es un espacio abierto para los universitarios dentro del Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias - FICCI. En 2012 esta sección se consolida como uno de los concursos de video más importantes de Colombia. Su propósito es motivar a los estudiantes en niveles superiores de educación, para que produzcan cortometrajes de Ficción, Documental y Animación de alta calidad, así como identificar a los jóvenes talentos que serán la próxima generación de directores colombianos.

Con mucha creatividad, en las once versiones anteriores del concurso, los nuevos creadores han ofrecido diversas representaciones de su entorno, construyendo así parte de la historia audiovisual de nuestro país.

La categoría Nuevos Creadores, es organizada por el programa de Comunicación Social de la Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano Seccional Caribe y el Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias – FICCI.

Organized by the Social Communications Program run by the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University at Cartagena, "New Creators" is a section of the Cartagena International Film Festival (FICCI) set up to motivate university students to create quality fictional, documentary and animated short films.

For the last 11 years, the creative talents produced by this section of the festival have brought us their own unique perspective of the world they live in and in so doing, have made an invaluable contribution to our country's audiovisual history. This year, we will be looking for the young creators that will form the next generation of Colombian directors in a competition that has established itself as the most prestigious of its kind nationwide.
